Our Accommodations
Palm Tree House
Casa das Palmeiras is a unique building in the center of Ponta Delgada. Built in 1901 by the Countess of Cuba, the authorship of its design remains unknown. Distinguished by its clear Art Nouveau influences, its urban character sets it apart from others. After more than 30 years of neglect, its rehabilitation resulted in the transformation of a small and elegant Local Accommodation, where comfort, technology, and personalized service are combined with the tradition of a centuries-old building, with the original architectural aspects recovered and maintained. Our main objective was to preserve the building's atmosphere while incorporating some modern comforts and technologies.
Courtyard House
Casa do Páteo, located on the main street of Ponta Delgada, is the result of the intensive renovation of a 19th-century building, where existing plaster sculptures bridge the gap to contemporary art. To its unique architecture, we add comfort, elegance, and the art of hospitality. Falling asleep under our plaster ceilings, waking up to our wonderful breakfast, and relaxing in our extraordinary patio are just some of the experiences we want to offer.
Portuguese House
Built in 1924, Casa Portuguesa is the only building in the Azores designed from scratch by the renowned architect Raul Lino. Its unique architecture combines comfort, elegance, and the art of hospitality. From its marvelous balcony, one can admire the magnificent tile panel by the iconic Azorean painter Domingos Rebelo while contemplating the view of the Antero de Quental Garden. The house's garden is a true refuge in the city. Casa Portuguesa aims to celebrate the spirit of the best that Portugal has to offer; tilework, design, crafts, and gastronomy can be enjoyed during your stay. We host small events such as weddings, family gatherings, and cultural events. Our geographical location, in the middle of the Atlantic, fosters connections between different corners of the world.
